September 2024 – Where Were You In 1969

Flash back to the year Uplanders began – 1969. We celebrated our 55th year as a recreational club and our 12th year as a 501(c)(3) philanthropic organization. The food was delicious, costumes were creative, and socialization was loud and happy.

Our entertainment was a talented young man, Charles DeWayne. He is an award-winning singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and voice actor. He was a semi-finalist on Season 4 of America’s Got Talent. His voice has promoted brands such as Nickelodeon, Buffalo Wild Wings, Jack In The Box, Honda and AM/PM. He has also voiced cartoon characters for Dreamworks, Cartoon Network, Netflix, Hulu and Peacock. Very talented! Here are some pictures from the luncheon (click on any image to enlarge it).
